After starting to read the book I simply turned the pages till the end as if under a spell. Set against the backdrop of the ongoing civil war in Congo, Africa and the trading floors of a renowned company in London. Jurvir have got a sad past but was able to overcome it to become one of the top executives of the trading company. Besides closing multi million dollars bills for his company he keeps track of the performance of a conglomerate based out of India. One such deal lands him in Africa where he accidentally finds himself in tantalum deposit in place of gold. Tantalum is an ore that forms an inseparable part of our mobile devices. The extraction of this mineral is done at the cost of numerous lives and destruction of humanity. While on this expedition he comes across a person from his past and his life is thrown in a turmoil. And thus, the story goes on. The eyes of the readers are bound to remained glued till he/she has completed the epilogue. The striking features of this book are: 1. All the happenings have been explained in a detailed manner, be it the defence against a raid or the court proceedings of an arbitration. 2. The scenic beauty of the places are described in such beautiful way. 3. The book is a real page turner. If we can overlook a few errors in wordings and construction of few sentences, the book will take us on an adventurous ride around three continents of the world. Rating: 4.8/5
