বই : ধুমাবতির অভিশাপ ( ধুমাবতির মন্দির #2) লেখক: মনীষ মুখোপাধ্যায় প্রকাশনায়: বেঙ্গল ট্রয়েকা পাবলিকেশন "তিনি রক্ষা করেন এবং তিনি ধ্বংস করেন"। এই কটি শব্দের ওপর ভর দিয়েই যেনো দাড়িয়ে রয়েছে যুগ যুগ ধরে সব দেব দেবীর ইতিহাস। ধুমাবতির মন্দির বই টা পড়ার পর অধীর অপেক্ষার ছিলাম তার পরবর্তী বইটা। বইটার শেষে লেখক যেই দৃশ্য টা পাঠক দের কাছে তুলে ধরেছিল তাতে e কথাটি স্পষ্ট ছিলো যে পরের বই আমরা উপহার স্বরূপ পেতে চলেছি। তবে ভাবতে পারিনি যে এত শীঘ্র পাবো। ধুমাবতির অভিশাপ বইটা পড়তে গিয়ে একমুহুর্তের জন্য মনে হয়েনী যে আগের গল্প টা আর এই গল্প তার মধ্যে কোনো ফাঁক রয়ে গেছে। লেখক খুব যত্নে দুটো গল্পের আঠারো বছরের অন্তর কে এক সুতায় যেনো গেতে দিয়েছেন। আগের গল্পের সূত্র ধরেই এই ঘটনা ঘটেছে সাউ পরিবার কে কেন্দ্র করে। তফাৎ সুদু একটাই আগের সেই অল্পবয়স্কো তান্ত্রিক এখন অনেক জ্ঞান লাভ করে হোয়ে উঠেছেন শক্তিবাবা। মানুষের মনের লোভ লালসা থেকেই জন্ম নায় ভিধ্বংসি রূপ আর সেই তৃষ্ণাকে মেটাতেই তিনি আহ্বান করে ধুমাবতি দেবীর মত কোনো দেবীকে বা তার কোনো স্বরূপ কে। আর যখন এই দেবীর মর্ত্যলোকে আহ্বান হয়ে তখন...

To be honest I was looking forward to the release of the book. Without much ado lets dive in to the book. The first part of the series, we had a glimpse of the coup that was carried out by the Vaithalikas and a brief introduction to the different characters with whom we were already familiar.  The second part contains a brief recall of the first book and a brief introduction to different characters. At the very beginning we see Shivagami battling with Thimma much to the entertainment of the crowd.   বইয়ের নাম: ধূমাবতীর মন্দির লেখক: মনীষ মুখোপাধ্যায় প্রকাশন: বেঙ্গল ট্রইকা পাবলিকেশন  হিন্দু শাস্ত্রে আমরা অনেক দেব দেবীদের নাম শুনেছি এবং তাহাদের বিষয়ে আমরা বিস্তরে অনেক জেনেছি| দেবী ধূমাবতী এর ব্যাপারে সেটা বলা চলে না| সত্যি বলতে মনীষ মুখোপাধ্যায় এর লেখা ধূমাবতীর মন্দির বই টি না পড়লে আমি জানতেই পারতাম না যে হিন্দু শাস্ত্রে এরম একটি তান্ত্রিক দেবীর অবস্থান আছে| বইটি পড়তে গিয়ে এই দেবীর বিষয়ে অনেক তথ্য সামনে আসে| লেখক খুব সুন্দর ভাবে সেই তথ্য গুলো কে ব্যাখ্যা করেছেন এবং তারই সঙ্গে কিভাবে একটা লোকের অপকৃতি তার পরিবার কে ধংসের দিকে ঠেলে দিতে পারে সেটিও দেখিয়েছেন| বইটি পড়তে পড়তে শেষ না হওয়া অব্দি নামিয়ে রাখতে পারিনি| এক কোথায় বইটা "আনপুটডাউনবলে"| তবে একটা কথা মনে হচ্ছে যে গল্পের শেষ টায়ে যেন একটু তাড়াহুড়ো দেখা গেছে|  রেটিং: ৪.৫/৫

While surfing through the catalog of books that were listed on Amazon I stumbled upon this book which was called ' Milk and Honey ' written by Rupi Kaur. At the very first appearance the cover of the book will not appear to be interesting except the title of the book. Then again there is a saying "Never judge a book by its cover" and this saying held its ground in this book. The narrative of the book is so beautiful that once you start going through the pages of the book you will start seeing the events through the author's eyes.  Canadian poet and writer  Rupi Kaur  provides a view to that section of the society where the mind revolts in silence and seek attention.
